Casper's Marina
| Report from Mark
- It was an easy
run today for Bernan, Up tha Crick and Water Music. The trawlers left
Harbour Village at 0800 in order to make the 0900 bridge opening at Surf
City. The faster Up tha Crick delayed its departure so that all of the
boats would reach Casper's at slack water, making for easier docking. By
1345 all three boats had arrived. Nancy Teubert and Barbara West browsed
Swansboro's shops during the afternoon. |

| The evening's splash was an expanded affair when FHYC members Delle and Sam Curry, Mary and Jim Florence, Patty and Eirk Jensen, and Rosie Woods, all of whom had been on a bus tour of the coast, dropped in. They joined the Southern Cruisers for dinner afterwards at the Ice House Restaurant. | |
