Yes, I have not written for several days.  Life has indeed gotten hectic since arrival in Charleston on Friday afternoon.  We learned that Mayor Riley was having a big reception at the Maritime Center starting at 5 o’clock complete with free booze and refreshments.  Everyone had a great time before heading off to the first round of events for the Piccolo Spoleto festival.

We did have time to add Sam and Delle Curry to the crew aboard BerNan for the Memorial holiday weekend.  Harlan and Marcia Kebel were already here aboard Marlyn to join our group for the trip home to New Bern. 

For the last three days everyone has pursued the concerts that appealed to him or her while sneaking in a group Sunday morning brunch at 82 Queen Street and a group breakfast this morning at the Maritime Center.  To help you keep up with all the activities, Sam Curry has agreed to put together a picture album for you to see.  Watch the Yacht Club site for further information after Wednesday.
