	George Washington’s family had thought him dead in the war at Monongahela. The family members also assumed he had made a dying speech. On knowing this, Washington had written to his brother that he wasn’t dead and that he had not composed a dying speech till then!

Saturday, we traveled to Deltaville with remnants of the storm thru 2 ft waves decreasing to 1 ft at arrival.
The Teuberts met with Earl Beard and Elaine Albright on their new Amer Tug power boat at Deltaville as they head north to do the loop.

Jack Dozier the owner of the Deltaville Marina is also the Publisher of the Waterway Guide Book that we all use.This afternoon we toured Deltaville Maritime Museum and Gardens.

Tonight we picked up a pizza and went to an outdoor concert at the Maritime Museum to listen to the

JUMBO LUMP DADDY and THE BACKFIN BOYS.

The next morning the Ber-Nam, Up the Crick, and Maturity Rules, left for Dozier. Had a fine crossing. Waves began at about 3 feet and some wind but as we got closer to Delta it became clam. We did the Deltaville Maritime Museum and Holly Point Nature Park Two major projects are going on at the museum. Reconstruction of the F.D. Crockett a 1924 nine log bottomed buy boat and Family Boatbuilding Week. This work is all volunteer. The gardens are really nice. Families have donated the statues . In the evening we went back to the park for a concert by Jumbo Lump and the Backfin Boys. They were really good. That’s where we had our pizza party. Today is a lay day with washing cloths, using the pool, taking the courtesy car and going to Lover’s Lane and into town for some supplies. Ber-Nan left at their usual time this am and up the Crick and Maturity Rules will leave in the am tomorrow.
