Ruggerio's, Teubert's, Davidson's and Annmarie met at 10 am to go to the Newseum.  We were able
to see the motorcycle parade from the top floor of the museum.  After a nice lunch at Wolfgang Puck restaurant, we walked to the WWII monument through the National Mall.  After becoming very tired,
we all came back to our boats for a short rest before going to Phillip's Seaford for a very nice dinner.  Digested our food by playing a game of dominoes on Ber-Nan.  Nancy is on a loosing streak.  Two nights ago she had over 1000 points.  Last night 500 points.  Joe Ruggerio won the game.

Glenn and I are at the Gangplank Marina in Washington DC.  We had a great day with Glenn's
cousin and wife.  They picked us up in the parking lot and we went to the "Great Falls of the Potomac", a lovely park with water rushing down over the rocks, canal boat, mules, locks and woodlands.  Then on to their home in Lanham for a Chinese diner of soup, 3 main dishes and
dessert.  We cannot complain about today!

Snowdrift and
their friends visit the
Air and Space Museum
and the
American Indian
Museum.

George on the Capitol Steps

George especially
enjoyed the
American Indian
masks.

George admires the Capitol.

He ponders hanging around
for the Capitol Concert tonight
but decides to watch it on
television instead.
He's not comfortable with crowds.

Portrait of George Washington in the National Gallery.

Botanical Gardens

The highlight of the trip so far for George has been
