CRUISING FILE FORMAT

HEADING:
Title of the Cruise, Author and date of the write up.

Include this disclaimer: "The information contained herein does not represent an endorsement by the Fairfield Harbour Yacht Club.  Each skipper is responsible for the operation and navigation of his own boat using proper seamanship and charts.

DESTINATION:
Further describe the destination in detail and some highlights
of the cruise.

DISTANCE:
In statute or nautical miles from Fairfield Harbour.

DESCRIPTION:
Details of the cruise, events or places encountered on the way, highlights or dangers, recommendations etc.   No limit here.

RESTAURANTS, ATTRACTIONS:
Detail with directions on land, phone numbers, recommendations if found satisfactory. Omit references to an unsatisfactory experience.

ROUTE DESCRIPTION:
Describe the major bodies of water covered and any highlights along the way.  Do not detail marks, headings or other navigational aids.

INTERIM STOPS:
Anchorages, marinas, gas stops. Things that might be of interest along the way.

CHARTS:
Identify any NOAA or local charts.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:
Can cover anything of further interest to cruisers.
