Beaufort, NC
| Report from Bernie - June 4 warm and breeze morning ,-- Traveled to Beaufort Docks and went to lunch at the DOCK House to collect the complimentary beers and then shopped etc. Our last splash on the BERNAN was great and planned our safe trip home for tomorrow. Report from Mark - Bernan, Up tha Crick and Water Music had an easy run from Casper's Marina to Beaufort Town Docks today. All of the boats had arrived at Beaufort by noon, so the Teuberts, Terrills and Wests decided to visit the Dock House Restaurant for a leisurely lunch, enjoying the view of the Beaufort docks and anchorage from an outdoor table on the second floor. By 1400 hours it was time to explore Beaufort's shops. |

| By the time we had returned
from our exploration of the town, a number of other boats had tied up at the dock for the night. It was somewhat humbling to realize that the three FHYC boats were among the smallest transients in Beaufort that night! 1700 brought the last splash of the Southern Cruise, hosted aboard Water Music. ![]() |
